December In Review

Whew! The holiday season is over and we survived (barely)! Here is a recap of our fun and crazy month.
The lights at the Zoo were awesome. If you didn't see them you really missed out.

We had our annual Gingerbread House making party with family and a few neighborhood friends.

Elsha hosted breakfast with Santa. It was way better than going to the mall and standing in line forever. The kids had a great time. Elsha went all out as usual with great food.

(*Around this time we went on our annual Sun Valley ski trip. We had a great time, as usual. I was very bad and didn't take ANY pictures! Dane caught on to skiing really quick. We had to take him kicking and screaming off the mountain at the end of the day. Ian hung out in the ski lodge with Grandma's, aunts, cousins and friends. Dustin and I even got to ski by ourselves a few times.)

Christmas with Dustin's fam was great. Ian and Riley enjoyed picking on each other and being carried around by Izzy, Skye and Zoe. Dane loved his new track-hoe and spent the evening bossing around anyone who would listen. "Jackson! You get a shovel and start digging. Lillie! You get the roller and make the road flat!" It was hilarious.

On Christmas Eve we went sledding at Soldier Hollow with some neighbors. It was so much fun. A rope tow pulls you up the hill while you sit in your tube. Effortless sledding!

The Wray family annual Christmas eve party was great. We missed the three Emmett girls but were glad Lori, Laura and Clark were able to make it. The white elephant gifts are always a blast. Adam loves his new clown costume and the Denton's got stuck with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir plate. The decorative plate has been passed around the fam for the last 10 years. I had it for the last 2 and was glad to pass it on to someone else.

At last it was present time. Ian and Abbey had a great first Christmas. Dane was excited that Santa got him what was on his list. We sure enjoyed spending Christmas with my whole fam at our house. It was great to talk to Cannon in Oregon. We sure miss him but he sounds great and is doing well.

Christmas night was spent at the Allred's with family in town from Seattle and Georgia. My mom made up a fun matching game to play. Lots of good food and fun.

My cousins from Georgia spent the night at our house. We had fun going out for pizza and bowling. The next morning we had a blast sledding down our driveway.

It's a crappy picture but we had a fun New Year's. We rented a limo and went to Fleming's with some neighbors. Happy 2008! We had a great holiday season and are excited for the new year.
