Windsurfing Mama

Thanks to everyone in the fam being so helpful with Ian I have been able to sneak away for some windsurfing time. Carol has been the most help with him. She is always wanting to hold and cuddle him. I am a little worried about her. She is not usually like this. Don't worry mom, she is not taking your place. Love you.

Backwards Britches

Dane was so independent and put his swimming suit on by himself but it was backwards. I had to talk a picture of my backwards boy. He didn't want to do it so I had to bribe him with candy.

Bored at Dinner

At dinner with all the kids one night everyone was getting a little restless. Zoe started doing the girls hair and Dustin said he wanted his done too. He looks a little worried. Zoe, I think you have a future in hair styling.

Butterfly Farm

Dustin, Dane, Ian and I went to the butterfly farm one morning. It was pretty neat. It is like the Hogle Zoo times 10. The place is huge with a pond, beautiful gardens and hundreds of butterflys.

Beach Baby

Ian looks so cute dressed up in his sun glasses and flip-flops but he is not too thrilled about it so I have to snap the pictures fast before he is crying.

BBQ at the Beach

The windsurf beach does a big BBQ on Wednesdays with delicious food and live music. We all had fun dancing and the kids loved playing with the adorable locals.

Bonaire

These kids are fish. They have been in the pool or ocean from sun up to sun down. It is so fun to have cousins to play with all day. Dane is in heaven. Izzy and Skye are little mothers to him.

Dane went through a phase this spring where he had to wear his goves and goggles in the car. It was melt down city if he didn't get to put them on. The gloves smelled so bad after his hands sweating in them for so long.

I Can Sleep Anywhere

I just love these pics of Dane sleeping in the most random ways. Oh to be a kid... If I slept in the positions he does I would never leave the chiropractors office.

Our Little Super Hero

Peter Parker by day, Spiderman by night... Saving the world from danger. Dane loves his costume and wants to wear it everywhere. Thanks for giving it to him grandma and grandpa!

Fishin' on Father's Day

Grandpa came home for Father's Day and wanted to take Dane fishing. We got Dane a kids fishing pole and went to Deer Valley where there are some little lakes. as you can see Dane loved having some special time with his grandpa. I swear the pictures are not staged for effect:) They caught two little fish. Dane has not stopped talking about going fishing since and says he will stand by the fish next time he catches one. Dustin and I set up the kiddi pool in the driveway and let him practice casting in it. We love you grandpa. Thanks for the fun day.

Father's Day Pictures

For Fathers Day my sister and I wanted to give our dad pictures of his 3 grandkids. Megan had the brilliant idea of taking them on the golf course. Didn't they turn out cute? Not bad for a couple of amateurs. It helps that the kids are adorable.

Ian

Ian Mack came into our family on May 2. We are so glad to finally meet him. He has been such a good baby. The poor kid has been carted around everywhere since day one. Some days I feel he lives in his car seat. What a trooper. We are loving watching him grow. Dane is a good big brother. Always giving him hugs and kisses.

Dane

Dane Henry Miller is our first born. What an adventure it has been being parents to this wonderful boy. I never knew I could love someone so much. Dane so much fun. He is almost always happy and making us laugh with the funny things he says and does. Dane is all boy and loves anything with a motor. He definately takes after his dad that way. Dane also has a soft side and loves to cuddle with mom and dad. At 4 years old Dane is way into Spider Man, Lightning McQueen and the Wonder Pets. This summer Dane is taking gymnastics lessons, a music class, going to summer camp at the neighbors, playing with friends at the pool and going on vacation with grandparents and cousins to Bonaire. We are always on the go.
