Girls Trip!!!

In January Nancy and I were lucky enough to sneak away on a little girls trip to Jupiter Island, Florida. We stayed with Auntie Bobbi and Dick on the Jambor (Dick's boat). We had the most fabulous time! And Dick treated us all like princesses making us cappuccinos in the morning and cooking up delicious fresh caught lobster and pompaneu for dinner. Yum!! We also spent some time on the ocean on a friends fishing boat.
Pretty ladies on the beautiful beach after a wonderful bike ride on the island.
L to R: Bobbi, Nancy, Susan, Me
Man-o-war on the inter-coastal waterway. Yikes!

TWINKIE'S!!!!

Ian enjoying his very first Twinkie! I thought I should document this momentous occasion.
It was packaged for the Shrek - Forever After movie so the filling was GREEN!
The other kid is Jason who was camping by us.

Lake Powell

We took a trip to Lake Powell in May with Ellerbeck's, Shupe's and Epperson's. We had fantastic weather and great company. I didn't take any pictures but luckily Steph snapped this one of the family as we headed out on a Lake tour.
The trip was wonderful and injury free until Jared fell doing a sick wakeboard trick and broke his tibia. They had to leave early to get Jared to a hospital. Poor Bud!

Canyonlands Half Marathon - March 2010

I forgot to post this momentous event that happened in March.
I RAN my FIRST HALF MARATHON!!!!!
My sis and I did it together along with Megan's bro-in-law Tommy.
The weather was perfect! Sunny and not too cold except for at the start line where it was in the shade and like 40 degrees!
I am so proud of Megan and I. We trained really hard together and ran the whole race together too. I forget what our time was but I think it was about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Give or take a few minutes.

While we were in Moab two families from Dane's class were there too. We met up for a hike near our camp site. It was fun to see Kenny, Charlie, Penelope and Nichol!
Ian and Parker always have fun together. They were little cruiser's on their Scoot Bikes.

Escaping the Inversion

One particularily yucky weekend this January in Salt Lake when the Inversion was so bad it had moved up to our house we jumped in the car and drove south to St. George for some sun and 55 degree weather. We stayed with Cuzzy Hannah and Josh and had a great time. The kids rode bikes, and we went to Snow Canyon State Park for some hiking.
All of us on the sandstone in Snow Canyon.

Just Girls! Me, Gma Sherrie and Cousin Hannah.

Cute Couple Ma and Pa Wray.
My parents were in St. George too!
